Blood Relations
(whodunit thriller) – 2f, 2m
In this intriguing whodunit, the action swings between the present – involving elderly couple Pam and Charlie, and their grown up son Jimmy and daughter Nikki – and in the past, some thirtyfive or so years ago, involving young couple Lizzy and Joe, and a much younger Charlie.
Family ties are stretched to the limit, as the tangled strands of a long-ago murder are slowly unpicked, but it's not until the very final moments that we discover who actually did it!
“Blood Relations is a classic murder mystery … it will soon be a favourite … and we will be able to say, ‘I was at the opening night’” (Eastern Daily Press)
“the rapt first-night audience plainly enjoyed every twist of the plot” (Derbyshire Times)
“John Goodrum’s black comedy turns into a ‘who-done-what?’ thriller … writing of an extremely high quality” (The Stage)
